Buses depart from the Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails council office on the Sunday of the session start date and make a stop in Bernalillo and a stop in Cuba on the way to/from camp. Arrive 30 minutes before bus departure/arrival time to ensure all paperwork is properly filled out before your camper boards the bus. Buses leave at the scheduled time. Register for the bus when you register for your camp session.
Few things are as memorable for Girl Scouts as going away to camp for the summer. While you may not remember exactly how this rite of passage made you more responsible and independent, or how it gave you an appreciation for nature, you’ll know it did. You’ll explore your passions in a supportive all-girl environment for 3+ nights – it’s what overnight camp is all about.

Oh no, dinosaurs have broken loose across Camp! You’ll search the grounds for dinosaur eggs, prints, and fossils to save camp. Explore the habitat they are hiding in and learn how they are surviving the inland sea environment. Use your findings to capture the dinosaurs and return them to where they came from. We need you to save the day!
Juliette & Her Band of Merry Women

Establish your do-gooder camp away from prying eyes. Refine your skills in archery, tracking, and on the challenge course. Once your troupe feels prepared launch your dashing rescue to return the golden potatoes to their rightful owner (Gladys, Maize, and Betty).

Join us for this intermediate-level session and expand your horse skills at camp. Campers in this session should have basic horsemanship skills that include riding in the arena and trail at a walk and tacking up their horse. We will spend the week exploring the property and expanding our riding skills with games and of course general camp activities. Overnight in Ojitos with your horse and cook a cowgirl meal for dinner. Show off your skills at the end of the week in a camper choice activity like gymkhana games, lunch rides, or a mounted flag ceremony.
Design Divas

Being called a Diva isn’t a diss. It just means you have high standards. Join us to learn the skills and techniques needed for fashion design, interior design, and building design. Ojitos Time Travelers

Embrace the past. Spend the week living like the loggers of Ojitos logging camp. You will sleep outside in a tent you put up or under a blanket of stars. Master the art of knot tying as you lash your tables and chairs. Practice orienteering as you explore the area and then savor the flavor of outdoor cooking for all your meals. Girls in this session will spend the whole week at our Ojitos outpost. This session is primitive camping.

Come experience camp for the first time. Gladys, Mazie, and Betty are waiting for you. Spend the week with our burros. They love pets, brushing, and potatoes. Leading them on your adventures and learning all things about basic equine burro care. There will be plenty of time for traditional camp activities including tie dye, games, and even a chance to visit the barn and paint a horse. This session DOES NOT include any riding time with horses.

Down the banks of the Rio De Las Vacas observe insects, mammals, and fish that call it home. Get up close and personnel with the river when you trek along the waterway. In this camp for older art enthusiast campers will expand their knowledge by participating in lessons around more advanced art techniques.
