Utilize this Prezi Presentation to gather resources to help your troop earn their Native American Heritage Patch. This presentation will offer several resources to earn the patch (feel free to adapt to your Girl Scout's level).
In this Journey, you will:
- Explore the wonders of water by finding out more about its importance and how it's used around the world.
- Plan a Take Action project, such as making informative posters, promoting recycling at school, or planting low-water gardens.
- Earn 4 leadership awards: The LOVE Water Award, the SAVE Water Award, the SHARE Water Award, and the WOW! Award.
This Journey resource provides activities and materials to complete this Journey with your troop.
In this Journey, you will:
- Find out how engineers use design thinking to solve problems
- Do 3 design thinking activities: design and build a paper structure that can support the weight of heavy books, an emergency shelter, and a prototype of a structure that can withstand an earthquake’s shaking.
- Plan a Take Action project that helps others. If you're a Girl Scout volunteer, go to the Volunteer Toolkit for complete meeting plans and activity instructions.
