In addition to these new flavors, Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails continues to offer beloved classics like Thin Mints, Trefoils and Adventurefuls, along with old favorites carrying a new name.
“Caramel DeLites, Peanut Butter Patties, and Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies are new monikers to New Mexico, but they are the same cookies you’ve known and loved as Samoas, Tagalongs, and Do-si-dos,” Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails CEO Rebecca Latham said.
The sale of Girl Scout Cookies is not just about satisfying your sweet tooth; it’s an opportunity to support the growth, development, and empowerment of young girls as they embark on adventures and learn valuable life skills. 100 percent of the proceeds stay local with Girl Scouts in central and northern New Mexico, fueling activities that build confidence and develop the next generation of leaders in New Mexico.
Girl Scouts started selling to friends and family Friday, Jan. 26, with sales to the general public beginning Feb. 16. The 2024 Girl Scout Cookie program will wrap up in New Mexico March 17. Boxes of cookies sell for $5.50-$6 each.
