Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scout troops must complete eight (8) of the below options
Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scout troops must complete eleven (11) of the below options
- Participate in Early Bird/Spring Renewal with a minimum of 60% of girls renewed by June 30; if a new troop, 60% of the troop must be registered by September 30.
- Helps increase girl or adult membership by adding two Girl Scouts to your troop, recruiting a new leader or adult volunteer to your troop, or helping at a recruitment event at the service unit or council level.
- Attend a minimum of five service unit meetings.
- Attend one overnight experience with your troop.
- Complete a Girl Scout Journey & Take Action Project.
- Adults in your troop attend two of the following training opportunities during the membership year:
- Service Unit Team Conference
- Volunteer Expo
- Outdoor Core Training
- Volunteer Essentials
- CPR/First Aide Training
- Wilderness First Aide Training
- Travel Training
- Troop Talk Sessions
- gsLearn Training
- Youth Mental Health First Aide
- Submit your Year End Activity Report (YEAR) to your Regional Manager by the July 1 deadline.
- Participation in the Fall Product Program with at least 60% of your registered Girl Scouts participating.
- Participation in the Girl Scout Cookie Program with at least 60% of your registered Girl Scouts participating.
- Participate in a public Girl Scout promotional opportunity.
- Attend three service unit events.
- 50% of Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors in your troop participate in a minimum of one of the following leadership roles:
- Holds a Girl Board position with GSNMT or as a council/national delegate
- Holds a Girl Service Unit Team position
- Is an active Program Aide/Volunteer-in-Training
- Holds an official position with your troop
- Is a Counselor-in-Training or Wrangler-in-Training at camp
- Is on a council-level planning committee
- Is in a non-Girl Scout leadership role (Student Council, Key Club, etc.)
- Host a program activity for your Service Unit or a younger program-level troop
- Your troop, or Girl Scouts from your troop, take an official babysitting course
- Your troop, or Girl Scouts from your troop, take Teen Mentor Training
- Your troop donates to the Juliette Gordon Low Friendship Fun (GSUSA), Opportunity Fund (GSNMT), or the GSNMT Annual Fund
- Girl Scouts in your troop are working toward or have earned the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award this year
- Your troop participated in a community service project
- Troop leadership is using the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK)
- Troop leadership serves in a leadership position on the Service Unit Team
- Troop leadership or adult member of the troop has been nominated for a Volunteer Recognition during the spring Appreciation Luncheon and Ceremony
