Cooking Around the World
Get your passports ready and you head out on a culinary tour of the world. Travel to a different place each day. Play games and do a craft, then it’s off to the kitchen to cook. Maybe spring rolls from Thailand, pasta from Italy, churros from Mexico. The choice is yours with your new camp friends. The world is your oyster, so enjoy it one plate at a time. Create a scrap book of all your travels to share with your friends and family.
Tie Dye Take Over
Use your imagination to come up with all kinds of things that would look better with lots of color. Bring some crazy things to tie dye. Get a chance to paint, splatter and shoot color. Camp will never look the same! When you are not in the art center you will have a chance to use color cooking out. Go for a hike looking for all the color of the Moreno Valley around camp.
Rock N’ River
Can’t decide if you want to raft or climb? Now you can do both. Spend time climbing near the Taos gorge, then head out for a day of river rafting down the Rio Grande. Back at camp challenge your friends in water relay races. Head to the archery range or ropes course. Not sick of the water yet, head to the lake for dip or canoeing. This is the ultimate adventure camp session.
At the lake is where the fun begins. Spend most of your time at the lake, swimming, canoeing, playing water games and having a blast. Spend your nights warming up doing crafts or playing games. Plan a special cookout night and invite another unit, complete with a menu and entertainment hour about all your adventures.
