Calling All 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Girls!
Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails would like to invite YOU to apply for our first ever Camp CEO! If accepted, you’ll join us for an extraordinary, four day leadership development opportunity that will be both fun and challenging.
This weekend event will take place at Camp Elliott Barker, located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Angel Fire, New Mexico from 3:00pm on Friday, August 1st to 1:30pm on Monday, August 4th.This program is grant funded and is being presented free of charge for accepted participants! Previous Girl Scout membership is not a requirement for Camp CEO!
High School girls will partner with successful female commun
ity leaders to discover their personality traits and options for higher education and career opportunities. These girls will learn how to write an impressive resume, interview for a job, and be a strong leader. To be a part of Camp CEO, you must hold an average grade point average and a positive attitude! If you want to learn more about yourself, gain valuable communication skills, and set goals for your future, apply to Camp CEO!
The application packet includes an Application Form, a Letter of Recommendation, and a Health History Form. Please complete these forms right away! The deadline to apply for Camp CEO is Tuesday, July 15th, 2014.
Thirty high school girls will be selected to participate in this leadership experience. Transportation to and from the program, lodging, meals, and program materials will be provided free. Appropriate letters of absence will be provided to school administrators to excuse girls from class on Friday, August 1st and/or Monday, August 4th.
