Early Bird Registration Incentives!
Anyone re-registering for the 2013 – 2014 Girl Scout year before August 1, 2013 is considered an Early Bird!
- Every Early Bird girl will receive the 2013 – 2014 Early Bird patch.
- $1 per every girl Early Bird registered will go to their Service Unit to help fund Service Unit programs and activities.
*Since adults can be assigned to multiple troops, please ensure that you have two adults whose membership resides with the troop to qualify. Contact the help desk if you are unsure.
Troops who choose not to register online may still register early by completing and turning in paper registration forms. Troops registered by August 1 with paper registrations will also receive the offered incentives for registering by the deadline.
Membership Dues increase for 2014
What is the new fee for Girl Scout membership?
Effective for the 2013-2014 membership year, the annual membership fee will be $15 due to a national increase in GSUSA’s insurance plan with Mutual of Omaha. Lifetime Membership will change to $375 and the Graduating Senior Lifetime Membership will change to $195.
At the 2011 National Council Session in Houston, delegates voted to allow councils to charge an additional council fee of up to the GSUSA membership dues ($15). GSNMT WILL NOT incorporate this additional fee at this time.
Adults who wish to purchase a lifetime membership may do so at the rate of $300 online until 09/29/2013 or by paper by 09/01/2013.
Girl Scouts who will graduate from high school this year can take advantage of the current discounted lifetime membership rate of $156. To register, girls must submit a completed paper registration form along with payment to the Albuquerque Service Center, 4000 Jefferson Plaza NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 by September 1, 2013. All paper lifetime membership forms must be sent in separately from annual membership forms.
Lifetime membership is a great gift and a great value for our dedicated Girl Scout Ambassadors.
